Anyone else find it funny that we used to use BBS systems to communicate together then came the web and we got lost in it for lo these many years and now a BBS like system with a GUI is now the hot “New” thing, i mean come on its just a socialized message board with a trojan in it to provide updates to others on your botnet, i mean people following you

the only reason twitter is what it is today because so many celebrates got twitter and you can stalk celebrates. Twitter will be a flash in the pan once the celebrates move the people will move with the celebrates. Trust me in 3 years time people will be say stuff like twitter omg that’s so retro . Twitter is something that again shows the true face of our present society’s attention seeking unstable egos. We have to know everything about everyone so we can compare our lives to others just to see if were worth more, less or about the same. Is this really how we want to spend our time? Besides, live news feeds were invented a long time ago. If you have something important to say to someone you gain enough courage to meet them personally or at least give them a call. Absolute crap.

I’m sorry, but I would have to agree. Twitter is a somewhat pointless application, and wastes time better spent doing something real with your time, rather than fooling yourself with the notion that people actually care about what your doing every second of everyday.
