I’m sorry, but I would have to agree. Twitter is a somewhat pointless application, and wastes time better spent doing something real with your time, rather than fooling yourself with the notion that people actually care about what your doing every second of everyday.
Twitter is something that again shows the true face of our present society’s attention seeking unstable egos. We have to know everything about everyone so we can compare our lives to others just to see if were worth more, less or about the same. Is this really how we want to spend our time? Besides, live news feeds were invented a long time ago. If you have something important to say to someone you gain enough courage to meet them personally or at least give them a call. Absolute crap.
If people have internet access to use Twitter, can’t they use news website to get information on wildfires, rather than reading max. 140 characters status updates!! duh!!
Twitter is stalking in the 21st century. Less creepy, more stylish.
the only reason twitter is what it is today because so many celebrates got twitter and you can stalk celebrates. Twitter will be a flash in the pan once the celebrates move the people will move with the celebrates. Trust me in 3 years time people will be say stuff like twitter omg that’s so retro . The future is video and live web cam feeds the faster internet will become the better quality live feeds will become.
try plurk.i think its cooler because you dont only brag about your unexceptional lie but you can connect and share ideas and stories with your friends. try plurk.
Anyone else find it funny that we used to use BBS systems to communicate together then came the web and we got lost in it for lo these many years and now a BBS like system with a GUI is now the hot “New” thing, i mean come on its just a socialized message board with a trojan in it to provide updates to others on your botnet, i mean people following you

twitter is not for me
I couldn’t care less about somebody dropping their phone in the W.C. But relying it on “Important Events Unfolding” can cause hysteria and confusion when the message is miss read. It’ll die like webcrawler & geocities. “-I’ve just yawned ” trev_goodchild 10:37am 11/06/09.
