Buzz Aldrin Buzzes Kiwis for Mars Expedition (Video)
Buzz Aldrin made history when he and Neil Armstrong piloted the lunar module of Apollo 11 to make the first manned Moon landing, on July 20, 1969. He is in New Zealand for the Planet 2010 telecommunications and technology show.
Buzz commented that New Zealand can have a silver fern painted on the side of a rocket to Mars if New Zealand stumps up a contribution to the cost of a Mars Expedition.

this stuff video is so interesting, we can know more about the Mars expedition. Thanks
I don’t know if anyone else pointed this, the title for this post has a mistake. It should be Aldrin and not Aldin.
Good video, Buzz is definitely inspiring and he is one of the biggest supporters for Mars mission.

It would have been cool if he was the first man on the moon, with a name like buzz and all. Kids won’t forget him ever in relation to the toy story buzz. Please fave me too! Thanks.

Buzz was the first man on the moon. He was on the Apollo 11 with Neil Armstrong and went down the ladder after him.
I heard from a friend who attended that the conference had some great speakers.
We’re fortunate to have access to one of the three astronauts from Apollo 11 – and his expereiences and ideas for the future.
Buzz still looks in great shape with a sharp mind!
Hey I must say this is a very nice and informative blog post.
thanks for the information provided.

I can’t believe that it can be possible – that life forms can exist on Mars.
I was reading your article on Buzz Aldring and it reminded me the interview of Ali G (aka Borat or Sasha Cohen) who interviewed him.
He (his character) asked Buzz:
AliG: “So, how were the men on the moon”
Buzz: “What!?”
AliG: “YEA, were they friendly?”
Buzz Aldrin (thinking what a dumbass): “There were absolutely nobody on the moon”
Lol, my funny moment of the day

Buzz will always be a legend. He really is a remarkable character. I think it is great that he is still travelling the world promoting space exploration. The Mars mission is another step forward and it is good to see people around the world being educated on space.

Theres definately life on mars, how could there not be?
It will not be long before we see an expedition to Mars. Space exploration needs to continue. I feel progress has stalled in recent years.
