The animals are not those who harms you on their own on the first part.. so its our responsibility, that we should be controlled. This should be stopped and yeah.. its a better step taken by the NZ stars..!!

There’s a campaign to stop animal cruelty and some goes on vegetarian just to avoid this.

I’m glad that famous people are able to use their fame to promote causes like this. Personally it makes me feel much happier knowing that there are people willing to campaign to stop animal abuse. Being a dog owner myself i hate to see animals harmed. I think the reaon that people feel so sad when they see animal abuse is primarily because animals are so vulnerable. they can’t speak and tell us about their pain and so we feel that we want to protect them all the more and be their voice.

Its great that famous people are putting their name to a decent cause. Its hard nowadays with so many charities and causes competing for money to determine where you should put your money. Animal charities sometimes find it difficult to get publicity so this should help them out.

I guess Michael Vick really hit a nerve among NZ stars. Not that I am in support of animal cruelty, but I think Vick and his actions really put the subject in the spotlight. Good for Lucy Lawless, hadn’t heard from her in YEARS!

It’s always nice to see people we look up to take a stand against something wrong in the world. I just wish though that this will not stop at this. With their voice, they can campaign for something besides fighting animal cruelty.

Cruelty to animals should be stopped. In India, PETA helps prevent cruelty to animals and goes a good job at it
