I used to think that the harbour bridge was pretty ugly when I was a kid. Been around the world a few times now and it’s really not that bad. Looks great at night time.
Interesting to learn a little more about how it was made.
The harbour bridge was even part of the view from the top of scenic drive the night I proposed to my wife.

I think that the bridge looks spectacular especially for being 50 years old! I have watched many documentaries on bridge making and maintenance and they are truly a unbelievable all of the aspects of it that are involved – thank god for bridge builders though

Fantastic looking bridge. I think bridges are amazing because not only are they functional but they can be designed to be really beautiful too.

That bridge is one of the evidences of man’s greatest capability aside from the skyscrapers. Those bridges are making our lives easier though sacrifices were made way back in 1955. Today, we are still lucky to reap the hardships of those workmen. Thanks to them all!

WOW that’s a wonderful bridge. I have just seen the Auckland bridge in here and I got curious so I go on research and I found out that the bridge took 4 years to build and sad to know that four men were killed during the construction. But anyways I wish to see the bridge in person.
