David Beckham Fails to Fill Stadium Jumps off Bridge

Football Superstar and part-time LA Galaxy player David Beckham failed to fill the Mt Smart Stadium in an exhibition match according to the NZ Herald:

Beckham and the Galaxy played at Mt Smart Stadium on December 6 in a game against an Oceania All Stars team.

While 6,500 children from 130 schools saw Beckham, not enough people paid to go the game.

He did redeem himself apparently by jumping off the Auckland Harbour bridge. Unfortunately he was tied to a bungee cord at the time.

You have to love Beckham lol, I just wonder if he will play a part in England’s World Cup campaign. Hopefully he is given the chance anyway, he has more passion than any other player to win!

Beckham’s always been one of my favorite players. Many american athletes wouldn’t “be allowed” to bungee jump while under a big contract.
