Hurray. Three Cheers! Proud to be an aucklander and a kiwi. I should admit that Auckland has been one of the top notch market for our gig. We get tremendous inquires for auckland airport pickup and I wish it leaps forward much bigger in the future. Thanks to the tourist attractions. Thanks for sharing this incredible statistics with us. Your post has made my day

I’m very curious about the criteria according to which this research has been held. But never the less I can agree with the first five positions…
this really doesn’t surprise me. I work from Sydney but make regular business trips to Auckland and sometimes Hamilton and usually fly into Auckland airport. Something else at the airport which is really handy is the bus which runs to the city every 15 mins or so – this is a real bonus for people not wanting to pay the big taxi fare…

A big congrats to everyone in Auckland! It’s an achievement of sorts. I would like to know the parameters that were considered in deciding the winners and compiling the list.
That’s good news for NZ well done all concerned. Just wondering if you would like to guest post on my travel blog – sadly there is nothing about New Zealand there yet so it would be very welcome.

Hi,
Its good to hear and many congratulation to the Auckland people.I am Indian ,so i am not feeling good as there is no Indian city airport over there.
What was the selection criterion while deciding the airports? I hope that the entire process was fair and just. I am quite surprised to know that the list does not feature any American airport.
The airports are ranked according to various categories like the infrastructure, services, delivery, cleanliness, washrooms and other amenities. Based on these trends Auckland Airport continues on an upward trend with a global No 9 ranking. Congratulations to the people responsible for this.
I’ve been to the airport in Munich once in my life but it is enough for me to make up my mind that it is one of the best airports in the world!

Wow, I’m quite surprised at that. However, to be fair – it is a lot better than a lot of airports I have been in. L.A.X. was especially disappointing!

It is no surprise to see Singapore at the top of the list. They seem to be streets ahead of the rest of us when it comes to luxury, cleanliness and law abiding citizens. Coming from the UK it is no surprise to see we do not even feature!

With so many great airports around the globe this is a great achievement for a relatively small country. Well done all you Kiwis!
