Swedes Convert Jumbo Jet to Jumbo Backpackers

Thought you could never afford first class on a Boeing 747, then think again, you can now book into the Jumbo Hostel near Arlanda Airport on the highway toward Stockholm. Prices range from $40US to $420US for the cockpit suite. You can find more information about the Jumbo Hostel here.
The plane is a Boeing 747-212B last registered (3DNEE) with Transjet. Transjet Airways was founded in 2000 by Thomas Johansson and started with operations in the summer of 2001, with a McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (leased from Air Liberté) on contract for English tour operators. The airline acquired this plane on
Transjet Airways was grounded by the Swedish aviation authorities due to organizational problems with its flight operations and its AOC (Aircraft Operator Certificate) was withdrawn by Swedish aviation authorities on July 09th due to being not compliant with safety regulations and its fleet of 3 747s & 5 MD80s was grounded On 13th Nov 2002 the AoC was permanently withdrawn as Transjet failed to meet the requirements of the Flight Safety Inspection of the Swedish CAA. Further attempts to restart operations failed and the plane remained at Arlanda Airport.
