Flight of the Conchords Honored with Hall of Fame

The New Zealand Fringe Festival topped off an amazing season by naming Jemaine and Bret as members of the inaugural New Zealand Fringe Hall of Fame.
The Fringe Hall of Fame recognises individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the New Zealand Fringe Festival over the years and Bret and Jemaine are shining examples of such individuals who have used Fringe as a platform to create diverse, brave and gob-smacking work,” said Fringe Arts Trust director Mark Westerby.

The Fringe Festival is currently running in Adelaide and one of the acts has been kicked out of their venue for doing something offensive to the Aussie flag. Sometimes these acts can go a little too far.
Should I be laughing ?
The R-rated Ladies of Colour Cabaret had performed at Najjar’s cafe in North Adelaide, but the owners objected to the entertainers cutting up the Australian flag.
The show had to be cancelled on Sunday night, but Tuesday night’s final performance will go ahead at a different location.
The Fringe director, Christie Anthoney, says it is a shame.
