After being incredibly frustrated at the Radio NZ website and their refusal to support non Windows machines. What really irked me was that the streams were MP3 streams inside an asx wrapper. So I had to figure out how to get access to the direct stream.

I googled around looking for a back door to the streaming servers  and discovered that someone had already done this for the Mac with a widget. Not only have they done Radio NZ, they have added all the major radio stations in NZ.
