Cadillac has for the past few years sold a V Series version of the Cadillac CTS and STS. These have been designed to compete with the AMG and M series products from Mercedes and BMW respectively.
What is less know is that there is a version of the V Series for international markets called “V international”. Most recently this has been applied to the Holden Calais sedan available in Australia and New Zealand.

The Holden Calais V sports a 6 Litre V8 which turns out a 270kW(362 HP) with 530Nm (390 ft/p) max torque.
Holden has for the last 20 years had the Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) division that delivered high performance vehicles and managed the racing program in ANZ. This is because of the homologation rules for racing down under.

This Clubsport R8 has 307Kw (411HP) of power through a 6 Litre LS2 V8 engine.
