Zune DRM Cracked

July 16th, 2007 · No Comments

Hackers have successfully removed the DRM from Zune Marketplace music.  Zune DRM stripper is available for all downloaded files. The hackalso  allows subscribers of Zune Marketplace to hand over music to people who don’t have a subscription but do have a Zune. Normally shared music can only be played three times.

” This is a serious problem” says a spokesman for the Recording Industry Association. “The loss from this could run into the tens, maybe hundreds of dollars”.

“The upside is that we know all of the Zune owners and we intend to contact all five of them” says  the RIAA.
