OMG Kiwis Win Again In Huge Nailbiter

 Americas Cup

I still can’t breathe. The closest and longest cup race in history with two major lead changes…..

Here is the short form, Alinghi wins start, takes off to the right, there is a left shift, kiwis go out to a 400M lead and round the top at 1m23s. They round mark 2 at 1m2s. They have to do a double tack, catch the spinnaker in the gib and are stuck heading out to the right giving Alinghi the left. Alinghi catch the left shift and goes into the lead just before the third mark, Alinghi rounds the 3rd mark 15sec ahead and takes off to the left for the finish. The kiwis behind head off to the right and sale downwind. They cross again 1min before the finish line with the kiwis ahead and they take the finish by 25secs.

I need to practice breathing again…..
