In a surprising strong report on Zune Sales, Microsoft says it now claims the lead in the delivery of hard disk based players that start with the letter Z (oops the Zen sells better) …with the letters Z and U and are colored Pink and are manufacturer by Yuckatume…

the “limited edition” pink Zune has become the second-best seller in the product lineup, Microsoft said today in its monthly update on its music device. The pink version, released earlier this month, is outselling white and brown, according to the company. That makes it second only to black.

Microsoft sources when on to say that it only took a bazzillion dollars to dominant this market and show the superiority of the Zune platform.
